not the abstract concept. the broadway play.
kirk and i have been wanting to see this for quite a while. cherry jones is one of my favorite actresses, and she is an out lesbian to boot, which makes it just that much better.
and the play won the 2005 pulitzer prize for drama, so it’s gotta be at least decent, right? i’m cheap and hate to spend money and that’s the only reason we haven’t seen it as yet, because i’ve wanted to see it since it came out. so to speak.
and we are going to eat at komegashi. kirk ate there for lunch a while back and raved, so i’m really looking forward to it. it’s french/japanese fusion. i like french and i like japanese and i’m in an adventurous mood, so it should rock.
i just wish i hadn’t been so stupid about buying the tickets. i could have gotten them on any night this week, and i got them for tuesday.
the one night we have french class. damn. i hate when i do stuff like that.
oh well. i’m over it now.
